First starting out in this industry I was a lost puppy. I dove into this career head first not knowing what I was getting myself into, it was honestly a last ditch effort after dropping out of my first semester of college and I was ready to prove myself to whoever was watching. After completing cosmetology school I was determined to get into a hustle & bustle salon- here is where I assisted and worked behind the chair for my first few years. I was a jack of all trades & a master at none. I was lost and defeated at the end of my time there, I looked into other options because I just didn’t think this was the career for me anymore- I was ready to give it all up.

I ended up leaving the salon and starting at a salon suite because booth-rental concepts just weren’t popular at the time. This is where I found my love for extensions. I took a one day look and learn, brought it home and started my extension career. I soon learned that the one day look and learn was not up to par education and I was eager to learn more. In October in 2019 is when I opened my salon and that same month I became IBE certified, the first certified in Florida. Every time they launched a new class or program, I was the first to be on it. I craved more and this is how I perfected my technique behind the chair & this is how I can promise my clients that I am offering the absolute best. I am a true specialist.

Within my journey with IBE I played a lot of roles; a color educator, regional educator, platform artist and a lead role in the platform artist community. I was also awarded color awards and what I am most proud of; highest earner in the company. 2022 was the year I generated my first $500,000 in one working year behind the chair. I am most proud of this because I made a lot of sacrifices behind the chair that ultimately now allows me to work my dream schedule AND earn more. My mission now is to show fellow hairstylists that you can do the same.

I am a mother, wife, salon owner, hair brand owner, hairstylist and mentor, I wear a lot of hats and receive so many messages on how I do it- this is why I created this platform. I want to be able to help other hairstylists and salon owners no matter where they’re at in their career.
